5 Products That Make My Life Easier

Lord knows that having a full time job, a toddler, a needy pet and a husband makes my life SUPER hectic!  It seems that I am constantly running from one commitment to the next, and time just keeps slipping by.  This season of my life is absolutely crazy, so anything that can can save me time or frustration is welcomed!  Here are my TOP 5 PRODUCTS THAT MAKE MY DAY TO DAY LIFE EASIER:

The Mini Shark Cordless Vacuum (link HERE) – This little gem has been a lifesaver for quick clean-ups.  I especially love using it both in my car and on my stairs.  I can tell you firsthand that you have to stay on top of cleaning, or your house can get out of control VERY QUICKLY!  My biggest messes stem from both my busy toddler and my precious dog that sheds everywhere.  This is so quick and easy to use, and I love not having to drag out a large vacuum constantly!   

The Collapsible Laundry Basket (link HERE) – We have a small laundry room in our current home, so there just isn’t enough room to store a regular laundry basket.  I love it so much because it collapses flat, making it very easy to store against the wall.  All you have to do is pop it open once you need it, which is fantastic!  It helps me cart the laundry upstairs, and when I am done, I just flatten and store it.  I no longer have to trip over a basket while walking through my laundry room, which makes me super happy!  This is a little on the pricey side, but the extra floor space in my laundry room has made it totally worth it.  I would recommend it to anybody who has a small laundry room or no laundry room at all.  It would also work great for a college student who is in a dorm or small apartment.  

The Mini Steamer (link HERE) – This is BY FAR my favorite product on this list!  The mini steamer has made this mama’s life SO MUCH EASIER over the past few months.  I am constantly doing laundry, and this guy has saved me so much time by not having to iron as much!  Having a toddler in school means that she is constantly coming home with all kinds of stains on her clothing.  Add in dance classes and swim lessons, and this mama is a laundry running machine!  🙂  For things that can steam easily, this little product makes getting out wrinkles so easy.  It also takes up very little space, which is a bonus.  It comes with a small travel bag, so it can go with me on trips for any quick touch ups that I might need.  I don’t have to drag out my ironing board as often now with this product, which is a welcomed change in our home! 

The Furminator (link HERE) – This is HUGE for those who have pets who shed.  I love my dog VERY MUCH, but she is a shedding machine.  This little tool helps remove a ton of her loose hair, so it goes in the trash and NOT on my furniture.  🙂  I spend far less time cleaning up Lucy’s hair since I purchased this tool.  We still have some shedding issues, but this has most definitely helped A LOT!  Lucy loves it too because she gets a nice back and neck scratch when we use it on her.  🙂

KitchenAid Stand Mixer (link HERE) – The more you can do hands-free, the easier your life will be.  This mixer frees up your hands to do other tasks, which will save you a ton of time while preparing dinner.  I received one of these as a wedding gift, and it still remains one of my favorite things.  There are so many cool attachments you can get, including a pasta maker!  This has made cooking SO MUCH EASIER, and I love that it encourages eating at home.  Clean up is also really easy – hooray!  I can’t wait to use ours soon for some fun holiday cookie baking!  🙂
