Back to school brings on lots of fun activities and tons of BIRTHDAY PARTIES! It seems like every time that we turn around, we are getting another sweet invitation in the mail to a birthday celebration. Although most people immediately run to the toy store, I like to oftentimes think outside of the box a little bit. I also love to support small businesses, because I am the daughter of small business owners. I have so enjoyed starting my Instagram account, because there are SO MANY wonderful small business IG pages! Here is a list of my favorite toddler gifts that come from small businesses on Instagram.
Blanket from Tiny Birds – These are PERFECT for bedtime readings, and they come in LOTS of fun patterns (like these PRECIOUS unicorns)! A great addition to this blanket would be some fun bedtime books. If you want to see my current favorites I read to Madeline before bed, then please click HERE.
These blankets feel like BUTTER, and their large size is perfect for snuggling in a chair or on the floor together! I love that these blankets are very lightweight and not too bulky. Madeline also loves setting her blanket out and talking to her stuffed animals! 🙂
Tiny Birds has fantastic options for baby gifts too! My personal favorites include her little wooden teethers, rattles and animal knee socks. They are so sweet, and I want them all!
A bow holder (or anything) from The Southern Baby – I absolutely LOVE this shop, and the bow holder is one of my go-to gifts for moms with little ladies! You should DEFINITELY make sure you check out her page, because she has some GORGEOUS designs for Mommy too! My personal favorites include her monogrammed cocktail napkins and guest towels. They are simply stunning!

Bows from BirdieBees Bow Boutique – Now that you have a bow holder, you are going to need lots of pretty bows! This boutique sells ALL KINDS of pretty bows, and it is so much fun to constantly see what she has in stock. They also sell seasonal packs, which are perfect for the holidays! Madeline is currently wearing the medium size, which I LOVE! She is very specific on which bows she wears and ALWAYS has to have one in her hair – LOL!

A monogrammed bathing suit from Kate & Carter – These bathing suits are SO ADORABLE and make the perfect gift! I liked the one below so much that I also got one in pink. 🙂

Diaper covers from NellyBelle Designs – Diaper covers do not have to just be for babies! In my opinion, little ladies definitely need these too while wearing those sweet dresses. You never know when they are going to bend over on the playground. LOL! 🙂 Other fun things you can do is have a large piece of fabric monogrammed and have it framed (like below on the top left), as well as have an intricate design added to a piece of clothing. Her designs are so lovely, and I have been a big fan of this brand for years!
